After attending art school in south Florida in the late '80s I worked with a variety of photographers in the area. I had the opportunity to work on shoots in the Bahamas, on cruise ships, even flying in helicopters shooting speedboats, but ultimately, I preferred to work in the studio. (I must have unresolved control issues.) After moving to Cincinnati in the early '90s I quickly realized this is my kind of town. The chance to work with food was exactly what I was looking for. The collaboration with stylists and clients is what makes it enjoyable for me. I feel lucky, every day, that I get to do what I do for a living.
