A Seamless Video + Photo Production for Horizon Creamer

An all-in-house production from OMS’s Golden, CO studio – photography, video, and retouching working seamlessly as one.

“We recently partnered with Horizon Organic Milk on a fast-paced, high-output video and photo production that showcases exactly what sets OMS Photo apart. Over the course of just two shoot days, our team captured and delivered 50+ final assets, spanning motion and stills – without compromising quality, consistency, or creative intent.

To bring Horizon New Organic Creamer’s product moments to life, we utilized a high-speed camera system to capture ultra-smooth slow-motion pours and splashes. The Freefly Ember S5K allowed us to capture incredible precision – slowing time to reveal the subtle detail and motion within every pour and splash. These details added a sense of richness – highlighting texture, movement, and product quality in a way that feels both elevated and appetizing.

Our team retouched all still imagery and edited all video internally as well. This streamlined workflow not only saved time, but ensured every final deliverable aligned with the original vision.

One of our biggest points of difference is our ability to capture video and photo simultaneously during the same shoot. Rather than treating motion and stills as separate productions, we approach them as one cohesive system. This allows us to maintain consistent lighting, framing, color, and overall visual language across every asset. The result is a unified content library that feels intentional and on-brand. Whether it’s used in social, web, e-commerce, retailer sites or paid media.

This project is a perfect example of how OMS Photo blends technical execution with creative efficiency, delivering scalable content without sacrificing craft. By designing shoots where video and photo work together, we help brands like Horizon Organic Milk get more value, more consistency, and more impact from every production.”

This was an exciting shoot for us and one that really showcased what our Golden, Colorado studio can do when all cylinders are firing. With Josh leading the video direction, me handling stills, and Will, our in-house retoucher and tech wizard tackling post-production, we had the perfect mix of talent to bring Horizon’s vision to life.

When we first saw the creative deck, I’ll admit, it was a little daunting. Two full days to pull off this level of content? It sparked plenty of “is this even possible?” conversations during pre-production. But thanks to seamless collaboration between the agency and our team, everything clicked and we ended up exceeding even our own expectations.

For me, this shoot hit all the right notes. It challenged us creatively, pushed our technical abilities and let us work once again with a client we genuinely love. It also gave me the chance to dive into one of my favorite things: high-speed liquid photography. I’m a sucker for freezing motion with fast studio packs, capturing those precise, split-second shapes that happen in midair.

For this shoot, we used the Profoto Pro-11 power packs, which are absolute workhorses when it comes to speed and reliability. They recycle almost instantly and offer incredible consistency shot after shot, perfect for those moments when you’re trying to catch a pour or splash at just the right millisecond. The precision and control they give you make a huge difference when photographing liquids in motion.

If you scroll back through some of my earlier posts, you’ll probably find me nerding out about this exact kind of work.

At the end of the day, shoots like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about creating beautiful images, it’s about collaborating with talented people, tackling big creative challenges together, and producing work that we’re all proud of. When you find a team and a client that share that same energy, that’s where the real magic happens.”

Projects like this are a reminder that the best work happens when planning, technology, and collaboration are fully aligned. By treating motion and stills as one unified production, not separate workflows.

We’re able to give brands more consistency, more efficiency, and more creative impact from a single shoot.

From high-speed liquid photography to in-house retouching and editing, this Horizon Organic Creamer project reflects what OMS does best: blending technical expertise with thoughtful production design to create scalable, high-performing visual content. When every cylinder is firing, the results speak for themselves.
