Desnuda Tequila Test Shoot

Desnuda Test Shoot
At OMS Photo, we empower our teams to delve into their creative pursuits, irrespective of their roles. Following an awesome product shoot with Desnuda, OMS's photo assistants expressed interest in organizing three distinct test shoots for the brand.
Each photographer was encouraged to present their unique vision of bringing the Desnuda brand to life. Their efforts yielded three incredibly diverse outcomes we thought you'd like to see.
Cheers.
Test Shoot One
Krys Hackett
"The typical imagery associated with hard liquor often carries a masculine vibe, characterized by dim lighting, rugged textures, and predominantly shown in rocks glasses. I aimed to present a more feminine perspective acknowledging women's presence in alcohol consumption. My approach involved blending vibrant hues with opulent textures, opting for cocktail glasses and velvety fabrics. Additionally, I delved into the concept of employing intense, focused lighting that evokes both intimacy and accessibility." - Krys

Test Shoot Two
Delaney McQuown
"I approached this work in four ways to show the endless possibilities that test shoots can bring. My first approach was a brighter, softer image. I wanted the setting to feel like an outdoor patio somewhere.
My second approach identifies more with the brand “identity,” a little more moody and rugged. I was inspired by a rusted piece of tin that I utilized for the background. An agave plant was added to the shot by tying in the lime's green color on the glass's edge.
Inspired by how tequila can make you feel, my third approach explored movement, color, and focus depth. I used a tilt-shift lens for this image to give a hazy and euphoric feeling that showcased the tequila-mixed drink.
My final exploration utilized natural lighting, unlike the other three shots. The color of the blue table surface enhanced the tequila bottle and brick background effortlessly. The many images produced in this test showcase the bountiful potential of this product. The possibilities are endless." - Delaney

Test Shoot Three
Matt Milburn
"I sourced my inspiration from the Desnuda website, Instagram, and logo. I wanted to match the same vibe, and since the translation of "Desunda" means "naked," I wanted to implement the images in a similar setting. I also wanted to ensure I was bringing the logo to life. The more I looked at it, the more I discovered, like the owner's names in the tattoos." - Matt
