What is OMS's approach? 

Our fast food photography process includes strategic pre-production planning, high-end food preparation and styling, professional studio lighting or location setup, precise color calibration for brand consistency, and expert food retouching for commercial use. This combination ensures your visuals perform across print, digital, in-store, and retail environments. 

Does OMS provide food and prop styling? 

Yes. OMS works with a trusted network of professional food stylists, prop stylists, and set stylists, depending on the needs of the project.

We can also collaborate with a client’s preferred stylist or creative team. Every shoot is tailored to ensure the food looks intentional, appetizing, and camera-ready.

What types of food and beverage clients do you work with?

OMS partners with brands of every size from national CPG companies like Wendy's, Red Robin, Danone, MetRX, Hershey to local restaurants, breweries, and start-ups launching their first packaging line. Whether it’s for billboards, menus, or eCommerce, we tailor the lighting, angle, and color story to match each brand’s voice. 

Can you shoot both stills and video during the same session?

Yes! Our Cincinnati and Denver studios are fully equipped for hybrid productions, allowing us to capture both still photography and motion assets on the same set. This keeps creative continuity and maximizes your budget.

Where can we shoot? 

In our Cincinnati Studio, we have three distinct shooting spaces with different looks/feels, all equipped with state of the art, fully equipped kitchens designed for food styling, storage, prep and hold/cold holding. 

Can clients attend the shoot in person or remotely?

Both! Clients are always welcome in studio, but we also offer live remote viewing through tethered capture and real-time screen sharing. You can review images, make selections, and give feedback from anywhere. 

Do you handle post-production and color correction in-house?

Yes. Most OMS food project includes access to our retouching and color specialists, ensuring color accuracy for packaging and consistency across print and digital assets. 

Can you photograph food for packaging, print, and digital use?

Yes. We capture in high resolution using Phase One medium format systems, allowing for output across packaging, print, social, and large-format advertising. Each file is color-profiled for its final platform.

Can you provide sets and surfaces? 

Yes. We maintain a fully equipped in-house prop room with tabletop surfaces, plates, glassware, textiles, set pieces...you name it! We can also source new props and handle returning/recycling after the shoot. We also have the ability to build custom sets and source specialty items. 

Who is the point of contact? 

We have an in-house producer who leads shooting logistics, scheduling, budgets, and vendors. We also have a post-production team that handles retouching, color, and final delivery. Which provides our clients with support from start to finish.
