OMS Photography

OMS was founded in 1989 by three friends who envisioned a better production company. Frustrated by ego-driven photographers, convoluted processes, hidden fees, and inconsistency from freelanced talent, they established OMS Photography. Rooted in a client-centric approach, OMS has a dedicated in-house team of commercial photographers, directors, retouchers, and producers, ensuring clients are prioritized in every aspect of their work. We've created an environment home to some of the best creatives in the industry because, unlike the freelance space, our employees are in-house every day and eager to meet new clients and bring their visions to life.

Whether you need product photography, engaging lifestyle shots, or compelling video content, our talented creatives are ready to tackle any project you have in mind.

We are excited to be considered for this project and hope to have the opportunity to work with you and the Kuro Wagyu team.

OMS Food Production Process

Below, you will find a breakdown of our standard process for working with our food clients.

1. Discovery Call - step one is conducting a discovery call to discuss your overall vision, expectations for the project, shortlist, and shoot day timing. During this meeting, our photographer, producer, and marketing director will gather as much information as possible about the client's brand, target audience, desired aesthetic, specific dishes/products to be photographed, and align on timing and deadlines.

2. Pre-production - once we have alignment on the final shot list, our in-house prop stylist will partner with our producer to gather prop/dish options to send to the client for review/approval. Our producer will also coordinate with the selected food stylist to kick off the project officially and brief them on the shots/dishes needed.

3. Production - On the day of the shoot, the team will arrive early to set up the space and test the lighting. Once the first shot is set, the client is invited to collaborate directly with our photographer (either in person or virtually) to ensure the correct food styling, dishes, composition, and presentation.

4. Post-Production and Editing: After the photo shoot, the photographer will review all captured images and select the best ones for client review. Once the client selects the images for editing, they will be sent to our in-house retouching team. The team will work to remove any imperfections or distractions from the photos. Once the editing process is completed, the OMS team will deliver the final images to the client in the agreed-upon format and resolution.
