The Dark Side of Happily Ever After

In 2017, the OMS team took Halloween to a new dimension…literally. In partnership with stylist Ricky Moores, we entered a world where classic fairy tales, long softened by time and Disney magic, collided with our own imagination.

What began as a creative studio challenge quickly evolved into a hauntingly beautiful visual narrative. One that blended fantasy, photography, retouching, and a touch of the macabre.

Each team member reimagined familiar stories through their own lens like Rapunzel, trapped in a gothic tower of bonee, Bo Peep, crowned in a surreal halo of wool and wandering sheep, Snow White, surrounded by the seven deadly sins as opposed to seven dwarfs and The Tooth Fairy reimagined as a nightmarish creature with dental floss hair. 

It was a celebration of storytelling through imagery. Entirely our own. This Halloween project reminded us that imagination has no limits, and sometimes, the best stories are the ones that you can only imagine in your dreams… or nightmares. Enjoy.
