The Woman Behind the Awards

If you’ve been following along recently, chances are you’ve seen Delaney McQuown’s name pop up a lot lately. And for good reason. She’s been making waves in the world of commercial and advertising photography (around the world), racking up recognition on both national and international stages.

We thought we’d take a moment to more formally introduce you to the woman behind the awards.

Delaney is one of our very talented photographers here at OMS. She’s known for her whimsical, detail-obsessed style and her knack for turning everyday things into something magical. With a mix of playful creativity and laser-sharp technical precision, she brings ideas to life in a way that always feel fresh and fun.

In 2024, Delaney was named the Claire Aho Female Photographer of the Year at the Pink Lady Food Photography Awards (https://www.worldfoodphotographyawards.com) an honor celebrating visionary women in photography. Here is the winning image:

Fast-forward to 2025, and she was awarded first place in the Production Paradise Spotlight Awards for Advertising Photography (https://www.productionparadise.com/spotlight-awards/) a global competition with submissions from the best of the best – here is the winning image:
