Beyond the Blade
An exploratory with OMS owners TJ Vissing and Scott Burchett for Gillette.
When tasked with presenting Gillette razors in a fresh light, OMS photographer and owner TJ Vissing aimed to redefine the product’s presentation and capture a library of images that surpassed industry standards. Embracing the familiar ‘hero’ angle that is often used for razors, he infused unique backgrounds, lighting, colors and textures to differentiate the brand.
With the initial shots completed, an expert retoucher, head of OMS’s post-production team, and owner, Scott Burchett, stepped in to enhance the visuals and bring the design concepts to life.
The final image collection is a testament to the OMS team’s commitment to exceeding client expectations and showcases our capabilities in product photography and retouching. We are excited to share a look into our process.
