01 The Brief

Wendy's is one of the most recognizable QSR brands in the country - known for fresh, never-frozen beef and a sharp, confident brand voice. That identity demands visuals that are just as dynamic as its marketing: photography that makes a burger look like a billboard and a fry shot stop a scroll.

OMS was brought in to build a cohesive image library spanning food hero shots, lifestyle moments, and beverage photography - all tailored for the speed and scale of a national fast food brand operating across social, digital menus, packaging, and broadcast.

02 Our Approach

OMS handled the full production pipeline - photographers, food stylists, directors, and retouchers all under one roof. That integration is what lets a fast-moving QSR brand like Wendy's move fast without sacrificing consistency or quality.

Phase 01 — Pre-Production
Shot lists aligned to brand guidelines
OMS collaborated with Wendy's internal creative team and agency partners to develop shot lists and mood references rooted in brand standards. Each setup was mapped to a specific platform and use case before the shoot day began.
Phase 02 — On-Set
Food styling built for the lens
OMS food stylists partner, Jeff Martin, prepared every item to perform under controlled studio lighting - managing texture, color, and composition in real time. Burgers, fries, beverages, and lifestyle setups were shot in sequence for lighting continuity across the full library.
Phase 03 — Post-Production
Color, cleanup, and channel sizing
OMS's in-house retouching team handled color grading, background work, highlight recovery, and asset formatting for each platform — social crops, digital menu specs, and print-ready files all delivered from the same shoot.
Phase 04 — Collaboration
Agility at national brand scale
OMS worked directly with Wendy's brand and marketing team throughout - sharing selects for real-time feedback and adjusting on the fly. The in-house model eliminated vendor handoffs and kept the timeline moving at QSR speed.
