OMS Photography & Homemade Brand

When Homemade Brand and Indianapolis-based agency Young & Laramore set out to prove that “we put more in it” wasn’t just a tagline, they partnered with OMS Photography to create imagery that brought the message to life.

Photographer Anna Jones and food stylist Mary Seguin collaborated on a series of larger-than-life visuals celebrating four flavors – Cookies ‘n Cream, Cherry Cordial, Peanut Butter ‘n Chip, and a second Cookies ‘n Cream execution. Each flavor was paired with a bold, playful headlines like “Tubstantial,” “Scooperior,” “Chunksistent,” and “Creamarkable” that matched the oversized personality of the campaign.

Photography

Anna Jones’ photography is what makes these shots work, and ice cream is one of the hardest subjects in food photography to get right. It melts under hot lights, loses its crisp edges in seconds, and mix-ins like cherries, chocolate, and peanut butter have to look freshly placed even after multiple takes. Anna’s approach relies on speed, controlled lighting, and constant small adjustments between shots to keep every scoop looking frozen, sculpted, and camera-ready. That discipline shows: crisp product focus, saturated backdrops that let the ice cream and its mix-ins pop, and lighting consistent enough to hold up whether the final asset lives on a highway billboard, a retail shelf, or a social feed.

Retouching

At billboard scale, there’s nowhere for imperfections to hide, so post-production had to match the precision of the shoot itself. OMS’s in-house retouching team sharpened every scoop and shard to hold up at massive dimensions – clean edges on the cookie pieces, glossy consistency across the cherry syrup and chocolate drizzle, and melt patterns that look natural rather than accidental. Color and contrast were fine-tuned to keep each flavor’s palette punchy without flattening the texture that makes the product feel indulgent. The result is packaging, ice cream, and mix-ins that all read crisp and appetizing from a moving car to a cart at the shelf.

The final result? Creative that made the product’s generous mix-ins impossible to miss, proving that sometimes the visuals can say just as much as the tagline.
