I was 12 years old when I discovered a 4X5 view camera that had once belonged to my grandfather.
Upon noticing I had taken up an interest in the old camera, my father took me out to photograph a field of sunflowers near our home. That was the moment I fell in love with photography.
By age 14 I was shooting, processing, and printing large format film and images in my basement darkroom almost every waking hour I had. After six quick years in college, I earned a degree in Photography from Ohio University. Towards the end of my schooling I found my second family with OMS Photography based in Cincinnati.
I now live with my wife and our dog in Manhattan where I lead OMS New York.
The best aspect of my job is the collaboration and teamwork that goes into every production. Working through the creative process with my clients and colleagues is truly rewarding.
